Noir Blanc – Essential Oil Perfume

This smells AMAZING. I can detect the sandalwood but, also violet. This is infused with essential oils. It is small but, should last. I only need a small amount, before my wrists are fragrant. It is a unique perfume and has become one of my favorite's. It is a potent scent but, not overwhelming in any way. At least not for me. I am happy with this one. I RECOMMEND.

It's a nice unisex fragrance with a mix of citrus, floral, and earthy notes. The roll-on application is smooth and easy, and the scent lasts for a long time, though it eventually fades to a subtle skin scent. It's made with natural ingredients and doesn't leave your skin greasy, making it perfect for daily wear.

Niely scented essential oil perfume with carrier oils, in a convenient roll on. This is a nice scent that agrees with my skin and my senses. I like roller scents because it is easy to control the amount of fragrance. Sometimes it is just for me, so a little on my wrist is enough. Other times, I don't want to leave afragrance clous but I wouldn't mind someone telling me I smelled nice! I appreciated that another reviewer contacted the company about the ingredients and they were quick to respond. I would buy other products from this company.

I stopped wearing topical perfume about twenty years ago when was prohibited to wear at my work environment. I have use essential oils and aromatherapy at home, especially now that it is more acceptable to scent the environment. Seems to me that the term perfume changed to essential oils and now to aromatherapy. Any way, I ordered a 0.34 Fluid Ounce rollerball bottle of Pure Essential Oil called Noir Blanc from the Ellovi Store. What a nice, soft, subtle scent! This is a light scent that feels clean and uplifting rather than overpowering. It smells like a combination of sandalwood, violet leaf, bergamot, and citron. This is a 100% Plant-Based Fragrance, made with 6 Vegan ingredients; Sandalwood Essential Oil (Antioxidants), Violet Leaf Absolute (Vitamin C), Bergamot Essential Oil, Citron Essential Oil, Jojoba Oil (Vitamin B-complex), Grapeseed Oil (Vitamin E, Omega-6). I really like the way I smell when I wear Noir Blanc from the Ellovi Store and give it a big 5 stars!

This fragrance is pleasant. It has a fresh and clean scent. It would be appropriate for a man or a woman. The scent is subtle. It's there, but not overpowering. It kind of reminds me of a soapy, but woodsy smell. A little goes a long way. I believe the oil base gives it a good staying power.

This roll on perfume says it is unisex, and in my opinion that's a fair statement, as it doesn't smell overly feminine or masculine specifically, as far as the usual categories go. The scent is pretty strong in my opinion, but I have very sensitive sense of smell. To me, it doesn't smell unpleasant but isn't something I'd personally choose. The roller ball works well, it glides smoothly and the product comes out onto the skin easily. When I tried to wash it off with soap and water after initially testing, it did not come all the way off, as I could still smell it a bit on myself. If you don't want a super strong application, it would be best to apply a small amount to one area and then tap it onto the skin elsewhere where desired from that area to spread it around rather than applying all over. It seems this has potential for the scent to last a while after application, considering my hands/wrists have been in water multiple times since and it is still faintly there even after having tried to get it off, but I haven't tested the longevity at this point.

I prefer to use natural scents over synthetic and I like to know the ingredients that I'm putting onto my skin. I was not a fan of the scent in the bottle, but on my skin it blossoms into a clean and fresh smell that's floral and powdery, soft and feminine. This perfume doesn't smell much like bergamot or sandalwood to me once it's mixed with my skin, but it is a nice scent to wear. The oil soaks quickly into my skin and doesn't leave a residue, and the fragrance is gentle on the senses. This fragrance is light and mild, and a small amount applied doesn't create a scent cloud around me. The fragrance lasts for several hours before needing reapplication. This personal fragrance is quite potable, the bottle has not leaked, and it applies easily. I'll be honest, the smell isn't for me. Not that I dislike it, just that I wouldn't personally want to smell like this all day. That's not to say it's bad. It's surprisingly mild and just adds a slightly sweet fragrance reminiscent of the woods.

I prefer citrus based scents, so I was hoping this would have that crisp element, but I found that the bergamot and citron, favorites of mine, are overpowered by the stronger sandalwood musky scent in this. That is not necessarily a bad thing, because the resulting fragrance is not flowery or sweet, but universal, acceptable for male or female wear. The small container, at about 3.5 inches, is only slightly longer than a tube of lipstick, so it is easy to tuck into a purse or pocket for an aromatic boost. The roll-on also reduces the risk of spills or drips, and the oil base provides both a lasting and a hydrating effect., with no drying alcohol. This is definitely a concentrated fragrance with great staying power that lasts and lasts. When I opened the package, I initially thought that some had spilled because the scent was detectable before I even opened the box. Due to careful wrapping, there was no spillage, just a very strong fragrance, foretelling just how intense this scent would be. Just a dab in the morning and I have aromatherapy all day long. I love that this is made of only 6 natural ingredients in the USA. It's a convenient way to enjoy a trace of sandalwood for hours and hours.

My skin can be sensitive, so I'm careful what I put on it, but after testing this on my hand, I wore it on my neck all day, and it was fine. I will enjoy using this for an everyday scent through Spring and Summer.

This perfume oil has a beautiful woodsy and floral scent that is long lasting which also helped made me feel wonderful while building my confidence. This product is made with mild ingredients without harsh chemicals as it doesn't cause any irritations for me. The perfume applied on my skin easily without making them feels greasy or oily. This perfume not only provided me with a pleasant scent but it also helped make my skin feels soft and smooth.

I use essential oils regularly, and I have also made my own perfumes. I find blending scents to create something perfect to be a bit difficult for me personally so usually I end up buying something. I do like to wear natural essential oils more than fragrance artificial scents. My first thing I want to say is that this doesn't really smell like wood. If you want a sandalwood, woodsy smell this isn't it even though they did add sandalwood. To me, this has a very bright, high note smelling fresh scent. It makes you smell clean. I wouldn't consider it a citrus scent, but more of a floral smell. It is more on the feminine smell side, but I could absolutely see a man wearing this. So ultimately, I would say it is a unisex scent. I like the roll on application because it would be difficult to spray oils without mixing with alcohol. I like oil based perfumes as well. I don't feel the price here at about $19 to be bad. A little goes a long way, and also the scent does last and linger for hours before fading. I would absolutely wear this daily. By the way, it doesn't irritate my skin or burn my eyes.

This Ellovi Unisex Roll is the most delicious-smelling cologne I've ever worn! I get compliments all the time on how I smell, and people always ask what it is. The scent lasts forever, I can still smell it on a jacket or cover-up I wore. I couldn't recommend it more! My stylish aunt introduced me to this; she had bought a small bottle of the real cologne for an outrageous price and said this smells just as amazing for a tiny fraction of the cost!

I've been studying perfumery as a hobby for about the last 8 or so months, and I always love to try new fragrances when I get the chance to, especially when I get the opportunity to review though Vine. The product lists Sandalwood, Violet Leaf, Bergamot, and Citron as the scent raw materials with Jojoba Oil and Grapeseed Oil as the carriers. Before I received this to try out, I reached out to Ellovi to make sure their bergamot was bergapten free. Bergamot is a lovely material, but it really needs to be processed to have bergapten removed or else it reacts with sunlight and will cause chemical burns on your skin. I also asked to see if they knew the origin of their sandalwood, and see if it's from a sustainable, ethical source. They replied quick, and verified their bergamot oil is bergapten free, and they source their sandalwood from a reputable supplier. Very cool! Real sandalwood oil is extremely expensive, and violet leaf absolute is also quite expensive, so that's also worth noting. As for the scent! It's surprisingly bright, citrusy, fresh, and smooth. I get a lot of the citron and violet leaf with the bergamot back up and add a little sparkle and lift in a subtle way. The sandalwood is nearly undetectable, especially for the first hour or so. I feel like it's being used in very small amounts to help smooth out and round the brighter, sharper notes in a supporting role. I get the effect of sandalwood more than the actual smell of sandalwood. After a few hours when the top notes dry down, I'm left with a very, very subtle skin scent with just a hint of the creamy sandalwood if I try really hard to detect it. I get about 4-6 hours from one application. The violet leaf absolute has been handled with care, as it can easily smell like cat pee. I don't get that at all, so they've blended this very nicely! Overall, this was created with a lot of care and attention to detail. It's not strong at all, but any oil based fragrance will be much less strong compared to a traditional ethanol based perfume/cologne. It's just a very nice, clean, bright, refreshing scent that is absolutely unisex. I think this would be a nice fragrance for Spring and Summer, and would also be a good gym scent, since it's an oil, it'll diffuse more as you heat up. I think it would also be a nice one to wear to work or the office, as it's not obnoxious and seems to keep close to the wearer. I do think it's worth the price since it's handmade made in the USA by a company that seems to really care.

This Noir Blanc roll on is not what I expected, but it is very nice. I thought it would be very sandalwood scented with other fragrances supporting that primary scent. Instead, it is very floral which I am guessing is the violet leaf. The roller ball works very well, the frosted glass bottle is lovely, and it's made in the USA. I really appreciate that I can pronounce all of the ingredients!

Nice, clean scent that is not too feminine and not too masculine. It reminds me of a fancy soap and I like it a lot. I am happy with this roll-on and will consider buying in the future.
